Elementary Aerospace Academy  $330

Grades 3-5
Students meet for five mornings. Activities at this level are geared to interest students in aviation & space science and technologies.

Three Elementary Sessions:

  • July 8-12 
    • Session E11: Foundations of Aviation & Space Science, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
    • Session E12: Foundations of Aviation & Space Science, 12:30 pm- 4:00pm
  • July 15-19 
    • Session E23: Foundations of Aviation & Space Science, 8:30am – 12:00 pm
    • Session E24: Foundations of Aviation & Space Science, 12:30 pm- 4:00pm

Middle School Aviation Academy  $600

Grades 6-8
Students meet for five days. Activities highlight aviation and related careers.

Three Middle School Aviation Sessions

  • July 8-12
    • Session M13: Pilot and Air Traffic Control, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
    • Session M14: Pilot and Search/Rescue & Emergency Services, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
    • Session M15: Pilot and Aerospace Engineering/Manufacturing, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

 

One Middle School Girls Only Aviation Academy

Open to girls participating in ACE for the first time. Some girls can be intimidated by boys when they are in STEM related classes. Female instructors will provide positive role models for the girls as they guide them through a variety of aerospace activities.

Middle School Space Academy  $600

Grades 6-8
All activities highlight aerospace and related careers. Topics include model rocketry, astronomy and the space environment, spacecraft & space station design.

    • Session M26: Aerospace Engineering & Design and Rocketry, 8:30am – 4:00pm

High School Aviation Academy  $600

Grades 9-12
Activities focus on aerospace engineering and manufacturing, as well as career paths for pilot, aircraft mechanic, and airport operations.

Three High School Aviation Sessions

  • July 8-12
    • Session H16: Aviation and Aeromedical: Effects of High Altitude Flight 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
    • Session H17: Aviation and Systems Toolkit: Orbital Mechanics, Guidance, Navigation and Control. 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
  • July 15-19 
    • Session H28: Pilot and Aerospace Engineering/Manufacturing, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

High School Drone/UAS Academy  $690

Grades 9-12
Activities include building and flying small drones, learning about legal requirements for small Unmanned Aerial Systems, and career paths for certified drone operators. Prior ACE Academy attendance is recommended.

One High School Drone Session

    • Session H24: Drone Academy, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
